Associate Director Susannah Fox presented Cancer 2.0, the Pew Internet Project’s latest health and social media research at an open session of the President’s Cancer Panel meeting, “The Future of Cancer Research: Accelerating Scientific Innovation,” on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. This meeting examined recent advances in biomedical science, developments in the technological revolution in relation to research, and how these and other advances have raised medical, ethical and legal issues.
