Just 18% of Americans now say they are satisfied with the way things are going in the country today — a new low in 20 years of Pew Research Center polling — while the percent dissatisfied has risen to 76% today, also a record high. Satisfaction fell from 22% in March and 27% at the end of 2007 while dissaatisfaction climbed from 72% in March and 66% in December.
