Muslim Americans show a decided preference for the Democratic Party, a preference that is reflected in their voting patterns and many of their political attitudes. Most US Muslims identify as Democrats or lean toward the Democratic Party (63%), compared with the 11% that identify or lean toward the Republican Party.
