Despite their support for the Democratic Party and liberal views on the role of government, Muslim Americans tend to be more conservative when it come to social and moral issues; by more than two-to-one (61% vs. 27%), Muslim Americans say that homosexuality is a way of life that should be discouraged by society, not accepted.
