Nearly six-in-ten Hispanics are Millennials or younger
Hispanics are the nation’s youngest major racial/ethnic group
Nearly three-quarters of U.S.-born Hispanics are Millennials or younger
Median age of immigrant Hispanics is more than 20 years higher than that of U.S.-born Hispanics
In 2014, about two-thirds of Hispanic Millennials are U.S. born
When older generations were ages 18 to 33, they had higher U.S.-born shares than they have now
About three-quarters of Hispanic Millennials are proficient in English
Young Hispanics born in Puerto Rico or abroad are less proficient in English than their U.S.-born counterparts
Younger Hispanics are more likely to be Mexican
