This presentation examines American and Japanese attitudes toward each other and their allies 70 years after the end of World War II. This report is based on telephone surveys in the United States and Japan. In the U.S., interviews were conducted February 12-15, 2015 among a national sample of 1,000 persons, 18 years of age or older. In Japan, interviews were conducted January 30 – February 12, 2015 among a national sample of 1,000 persons, 18 years of age or older.
